Scotland’s largest hospital and fmfirst
The new £842m South Glasgow University Hospital officially finished completion ahead of target and officially opened in May this year. This 1,109 bed (adults) and 256 beds (Sick Children) state of the art facility has been designed to house adults and children’s hospital facilities together with maternity beds, Neurosciences Unit beds and Langlands building. The new facility was built on the site of Southern General is one of the largest acute hospitals in the UK.
The sites expansion has also seen a significant expansion of fmfirst estates and facilities use. fmfirst has been deployed across the whole site to an expanded user base, to manage all essential CAFM tasks and crucial day-to-day maintenance activities.
